Design Process
The process included a couple of iterations to ultimately reach the final result. Below is an initial sketch created to outline the materials and design needed for the project. In the second image shows the imprinting the heat pad onto an actual custom insole of a ski boot, as well as the unenclosed electronics. The third image shows the enclosure and all of the electronics encased inside a 3d printed enclosure. Finally an image of the finished prototype. For more extensive documentation click here.
